

Valdria Lillian Keil, 92, of Houston, Texas passed into eternal rest on June 7, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on December 31, 1924. Valdria graduated from Coldspring High School. Valdria outlived both her husbands: Frank Dailey whom she married May 23, 1945 and Jack Keil whom she married March 6, 1983. She had a career in food services for Texas City High School. Gardening, hunting/fishing, and collecting glassware were her passions.
Left to cherish her memories are: daughter, Valdria A. Dailey; grandchildren: Bryan E. Harpster, Jason A. Harpster, Joanna K. Wilson; great-grandchildren: Benjamin R. Harpster, Adelyn Keil Wilson; siblings: Woodrow (Woody) Smith and Dale Smith, and numerous extended family--nieces, nephews and in-laws. She is preceded in death by: husbands: Frank Edwin Dailey (29 years) and John Joseph (Jack) Keil, Sr. (16 years); parents, Hillary Gordon Smith and Victoria Pauline (Lena) Smith; siblings: Gordon Lee Smith, David (Dave) Ray Smith, Hazel Ann (Nan) Fischer, Myrtle (Bill) Anthony, Donald (Boots) Earl Smith, Norma Lee (Nig) Lawhorn, Tom (Bud) Lawrence Smith, and Vernon (Bubba) Smith.
Family will receive extended family and friends for visitation Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A graveside service will held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Brookside Memorial Park.
