Valentina Aguilar, 89, died on April 17, 2026. Born February 14, 1937, in El Paso, Texas, Valentina later made her home in Houston, Texas.

Valentina will be remembered as a beloved presence whose steady courage and quiet strength carried her through life with dignity. Valentina is survived by her daughters Leticia Lim, Laura Aguilar and Pamela Aguilar, grandchildren, Joseph Mosqueda, Trojan Matamoros, Anthony Banks, Toni Sharee Aguilar, Marcos Aguilar and Jamie Lim. She met others with a compassionate spirit and a kind heart, offering warmth and care in ways that felt natural and unassuming.

Her devotion to those around her was evident in the constancy of her support, and her thoughtful attention to others reflected a deep sense of consideration and respect.

A hard-working woman of principle, despite her limited education Valentina approached life with determination and humility, giving of herself with a selfless generosity. Those who knew her will recall the grace of her character—how she made room for others, how she listened, and how her simple acts of kindness left a lasting impression.

Valentina Aguilar will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. , Houston, Texas 77081.
