Dad, I got to know you even more while caring for you. I am so blessed to have shared these special times with you. We laughed we cried. You taught me things, so I could care for your yard which you took so much pride in. You were so tender hearted and told us to always love one another. You often asked who was at the house because you wanted us all there with you. You loved life and didn’t want to leave us. You fought hard till your last breath. You are my hero. I will always hold you in my heart. Your my Angel. I love you Daddy always and forever.

Mr. Flores was a very special extraordinary person/friend/neighbor who would do anything you asked of him. We often talked outside by the front gate. He would bring our trash can inside the gate before we got home from work. He took so much pride working and keeping his yard so nice. I remember seeing him out this time of year picking the pecan from his pecan tree. Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same . We along with many others will miss his kind sprit. We will never forget his great smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Flores family. Much love, Elena & Wally

Dearest Uncle Val,

With a heavy heart ♥️ I am writing and attempting to leave you a tribute that is dignified like the man you were. On 20Aug21 I saw a brave, courageous and strong man I can proudly call my uncle. You really made us all aware that you had a will to fight and good fight at that. G-D bless you and know that we are all so very proud. The love of service for your country and so proud of the Airforce. I know that the physical isn’t here but you left us all your fun stories, jokes and special sayings. Sam and Matt love you and will continue to do so for they too were touched with your wit and love. The love of music, family and togetherness shined always in your face. I know you are in Heaven making everyone laugh. Nos dejaste tristes pero tu memoria viviera siempre. En paz descanza quiredo Tio te amo tu subrena Sylvia La Reyna Naftchi

My Dearest Uncle Val,

It is hard to believe you have your angel wings but it comforts me to know that we will all live together eternally one day. You always made me laugh and lit the room up with your presence. I am so proud to call you my uncle. We shared many special family moments together. I will miss you so much. I promise to always take care of my Aunt Louise and the girls. Rest easy ... you were the strongest fighter and bravest soldier I have ever known. Love you dearly,
Your Niece~ Veronica Edwards
