Valentino is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maria T. Muniz; daughter Theresa Gutierrez; daughter Josefina Muniz; daughter Cristina Hicks and husband Shawn; daughter Guadalupe Fernandez and husband Antonio Jr.; daughter Valentina Espinoza and husband Alexandro; and daughter Genoveva Espinoza and husband Fernando; sister Josefina Sanchez; grandchildren Rey Valentino Muniz, Maria Guadalupe Castro, Roxanne Velazquez, Toni Amequito, Valentina Fernandez, grandchildren Antonio Fernandez III, Maria Felicia Gutierrez, Almalinda Estrella Rodriguez, Crystal Espinoza, Anastasia Espinoza, Sarah Martinez, grandchildren Fernando Espinoza Jr., Luis Saldierna Jr., Juan Michael Alfredo Saldierna, Jazmin Chrishawna Diamante Hicks, Lovely Dream Jade Hicks, Monica Loreal Espinoza, great-grandchildren Reyna Merzedez Castro, Arturo M. Valentino was preceded in death by his father, Valentino Muniz Sr. and mother, Genoveva Liserio.

A visitation for Valentino will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home with burial to follow immediately at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Alexander Espinoza, Theresa Gutierrez, Shawn Hicks, Antonio Fernandez III, Tomas Juan Rivera, Josefina Muniz, Rey Valentino Muniz and Juan M. Saldierna.
