Vera Lucille King

Vera Lucille Cases King, 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Humble, TX. She was born on September 10, 1923 in Aldine to Lee & Nora Cases. She was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Guys & Dolls and Sassy Red-Hatters. Vera is preceded in death by her brother, Barney Cases, sisters: Doris McFadden & Leola Cases. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Frank Ray King; sons: Robert King & wife Dianne, Ronald King; daughter, Nora Bulin & husband Frank; grandchildren: Steven King & wife Joy, Caroline Becker & husband Steve, Suzette Potvin & husband Brian, Stephanie King, Brian Cox & wife Shannon; great-grandchildren: Mary, William & Luke Becker, Evan, Olivia & Aaron Potvin, Alexander & Amelia King, Mitch Credeur, Brendan & Cassidy Cox; sisters-in-law: Louise King, Maxine Cases & Sally Walker; as well as many nieces, nephews and long time friends. Visitation will be from 5-8PM with a rosary at 7PM on Thursday, January 3rd at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, January 4th at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2131 Lauder Rd., Houston, TX 77039. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
