Vicente Gonzalez

Vicente was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Maria Victoria, and his children: Esmeralda, Adelina, Vicente, Libby, Gustavo,Stevie Gonzalez, along with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

With profound generosity, a wonderful sense of humor, and a wealth of wisdom, Vicente touched the lives of many. He was larger than life, a great role model who set the bar high for those around him. His warmth and kindness will be dearly missed by all.

In his own words, “Don’t worry about the mule, just load the wagon,” Vicente always encouraged those he loved to take charge and face life’s challenges with courage and determination.

The family takes comfort in the words of 2 Timothy 4:7-8: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."

A visitation for Vicente will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
