

Vickie was a woman of warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for those around her, always putting family and friends first. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought joy, and her wisdom was a guiding light to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Donya Brewer, Shanda Montgomery, and Rex Pennick, daughter-in-law Angela Pennick, soon to be son-in-law Brian Hayes, and her beloved grandchildren Dylan Brewer, Brynn Brewer, Katelin Montgomery, Tristan Montgomery, and Angela Bardon, and Bobby Bardon. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Cash Brewer, Odin Eddy, Skiler Eddy, Hannah Nutter, Brandon Bardon, Noah Bardon, and Liam Bardon who brought her immense joy.
Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Rex L. Pennick, her parents, Don and Ida Wayman, and her grandson Sammy Eddy.
She had a long and fulfilling career as a marriage and family therapist in Wichita, Kansas, where she helped countless individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with wisdom and compassion. She found joy in painting and music, expressing her creativity and love for the arts throughout her life.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 9149 Hwy 6 N, Houston, Texas 77095.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in her honor.
Though she is no longer with us in person, her love and spirit remain forever in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
