Victoria L Maldonado

Victoria was born to Prudencio Longoria and Hilaria Varela Longoria on December 23rd 1931.

She lost her mother at a very young age of 7 years old. She was raised by her grandmother Dolores Varela in Larado Mexico.

They moved to Houston Texas when she was 9 years old.

At the age of 17 she met and fell in love with Adolfo Santos Coy, They had a daughter Sarah Carmela.

She was soon left as a single parent.

Then she met Gaudalupe Alexander and had two boys Frank and Edward.

She was a wonderful mother, devoted to her Children. She taught her children the importance of love and unity in a family.

That God was number one in your life. If you had God in your heart then you would be able to share his love with others.

Victoria also taught CCE at St Christophers, and she also sang in the St Gregory choir for many years. She was very devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Even when she was unable to attend Mass any longer, she prayed her rosary and celebrated Mass daily with EWTN each morning.

Victoria also loved to garden, sing and travel.

As her grandchildren came she had a special love for each and every one of them.

She leaves with sadness in their hearts her children, Carmen Saucedo, Frank Alexander and wife Josie , and Edward Alexander and dear friend Diane Perez.
