Vincent Eric Villegas

Vincent Eric Villegas was born in Houston, Texas on December 20, 1976, the youngest of four sons born to Antonio and Beatrice Villegas.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmothers, Nicolas Villegas (Grandma Nico) and Beatrice Gutierrez (Grandma Lily); and other beloved family members and friends.

He is survived by his three children, Devin Villegas, Mia Villegas, and Hayden Cooper-Villegas. He is also survived by his brothers Anthony Villegas, Matthew Villegas, and Xavier Villegas; sister-in-law Hermine Villegas; nephews Jacob Villegas and Philip Villegas; and niece Shelli Gilkerson. Vincent is further survived by his uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends, all of whom were deeply touched by his life.

In recent years, Vincent devoted himself to caring for his mother, as she moved in and out of assisted living facilities. Her final wish was to spend her last days at home, and the family is deeply grateful to Vincent for lovingly caring for her during that time.

Vincent enjoyed watching all Houston sports teams, playing fantasy football with his cousins, and was also well known for being on Facebook.

Thank you all again for loving and caring for Vincent. As we celebrate his life and mourn his loss, we are reminded Vincent would want us to “Don’t Worry, Be Happy!”

A memorial service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, located at 4136 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77087, United States. The service is scheduled for January 31, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by lunch at Don Carlos 416 76th St. Houston, TX 77012
