Violet Ai Xin Hasenmyer

Violet was born on July 24, 2013 in Austin, Texas. She was born two minutes before her twin brother, Augustus. The twins are the first children of Quyen Ma and Richard Hasenmyer.

Violet is survived by her parents; her younger brother Augustus; paternal grandparents David & Thuy Hasenmyer of Houston, Texas; paternal great-grandmother Dollie Hasenmyer of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; maternal great-grandfather Tan Ma of Salem, Illinois; paternal aunts and uncles Catherine & Shane Scaramuzzi of Chicago, Illinois, Steven & Julie Hasenmyer of London, England; maternal aunts and uncle Ngoc Ma, Tiffany Ma, & Hung Ma of Houston, Texas and New York City, NY respectively; and her paternal cousins Rebecca, Olivia, Michael, Sophia, and Dylan.

Violet enjoyed Sesame Street, her toy bunny Cynthia, baby sit-ups, and giggling with her grandfather.

Visitation will be from 9 AM - 9 PM on Friday, April 25th at the Chapel of Eternal Peace.

The Buddhist Funeral will be at 9 AM on Saturday, April 26th at the Chapel of Eternal Peace, followed by a Catholic Funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Justin Martyr. The burial will take place immediately following Mass at Forest Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest near her maternal grandparents Vien & Hoa Ma.
