She was born in Rosenberg, TX, on September 7, 1929.
She was married to Wallace J. Bashinski for 51 years.
Virginia Bashinski worked for the Aldine School district in the cafeteria for 20 years. She loved working with the kids and the food service. Her passion was helping others in any way she could, such as making frequent deliveries of breads and sweets to the Convent that helped young unwed mothers, runaways, homeless and others. This was a BIG priority of hers and believe me, she took it very seriously. Another passion of hers was her grandkids, she loved all the babies and always had such kind things to say to them. Her pets were also something she loved and treasured greatly. Taking care of Daisy was something she made sure to tell us to take care of personally so she could be at peace. Bowling on a bowling league for the Knights of Columbus was an interest she really enjoyed over several years too. She was truly one of the kindest, caring, giving ladies you will ever meet.
She was survived by 4 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
