Virginia Osborne

Virginia was born on the 12th of March 1943, in Adamsville, Tennessee to James Paul Beard and Wilma Ruth Taylor.

She married Mark Lee Osborne in Memphis and moved to Houston shortly thereafter.

Virginia was an avid reader, enjoyed music, the theatre and traveling. She was a passionate gardener, wonderful cook and gracious hostess. Virginia volunteered for hospice, served many community philanthropies and was a devoted member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

Virginia was a fixture in her grandsons’ lives, at their school activities and sporting events. She was a devoted mother and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.

Virginia is survived by her son, John Mark Osborne and his wife Mandy; her two grandsons, John (11) and Patrick (6), and their mother, Andrea Liebert Osborne. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Lee Osborne; her mother, Wilma Ruth Taylor; and, her father, James Paul Beard.

A memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 19th of January, in the chapel of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 717 Sage road in Houston.
