Virginia Perez entered into eternal rest on September 8, 2018. She was born on September 5, 1944 in Mexico to parents, Tranquilina Medina and Jose Perez.

She was a pillar in her church, her ministry included lots of food drives, and meal days when plates of food were handed out to the needy that her kids and grandkids helped with also, so they also could experience the joy of serving those in need. She especially loved gardening too, it was her passion. And she had a green thumb she could make anything grow from a seed or even a cutting. Plants would just multiply. In her house now there are avocado trees, orange trees, lime trees and all kinds of unusual plants. When the girls would visit her, she would often send them home with several plants in coffee cans. Mom also enjoyed being a homemaker she loved sewing and cooking she truly loved her kitchen. She had so many dishes and still wanted more dishes! She enjoyed doing things in the kitchen especially her homemade coffee not from the electric pot or a Keurig either. Our mom left us with many good memories she is now in heaven with Jesus. We will see her again one day. Thank you for honoring her memory here with us today.

This beautiful lady (my Tia) always had a smile on her face.
She would make a point to call me and ask me how the family (father/brothers/sisters) were doing. And at the end of phone conversation she would always tell me, I Love you
When she was living in Houston, she would call me and invite me for breakfast, nopalitos, menudo, it was all good.
She always had a way of making you special when you were her guest.
I will always cherish the memories I share with her.
RIP, my beautiful tia

My aunt Virginia will dearly be missed. She was a loving and caring lady with a big heart. She took in my brother's and sister's under her wings for months at a time when our mom ( her sister Petra Perez) passed in April 64. She still had 6 to 8 of her own in the long run. Also give my thanks to my aunt Juana Tovar (also sister's) whom also took us in her home raising us until my dad bought our own little home and we learned to take care of each other. So i know exactly what my cousin's are going through. I asked God to comfort them and help them feel at peace through their sorrow.
