Ms. Vivian was such a beautiful human being. Her trips with the youth and all her help with people. She will forever be an inspiration to me .

Vivian had a passion for mission and she inspired me with her service and her stories. Sager Brown was special to her, as well as many other mission projects. Vivian was a great and inspiring woman and I am so grateful that I knew her.

Vivian was such a great mentor and fellow mission spirit. She was always encouraging and pushing me to do more. She was loved by so many and will be missed. But what a great legacy she leaves for us to continue!

Vivian Oliver was a saint! She was such a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ and a joyful one, too. She put her faith into action at the local church, District, Annual Conference levels and beyond. Her mission and UMW work were expansive. Everyone knew of Vivian Oliver and her sweet spirit and dedication to Christ and his church. Heaven had a welcoming party for her. God bless Patti and the family as they grieve. May Vivian Rest In Peace and rise in glory.

A beautiful life! It sums up only partially the fullness that was Vivian! She was full of life, joy, and had an unwavering Christian spirit! She was my mother in ministry, and a trusted friend for over 55 years! She touched so many people, which means her memories will last for an eternity! Rest well, mother, I’ll see you again!

Patty, Chris and Gina- words cannot exoress my feelings of loss upon hearing the news of Vivian’s passing. I still see her in a lovely red shirt and blue denim skirt leading the parades of fun and work for family, home and her God. Vivian’s work in mission had no boundaries. She lived it taught it and supported it. Her trunk was full of mission brochures or other fun things to make mission real. An amazing woman she was and she even made time for me. Fun and laughter and joy remain as some of the memories of your Mother and Grandmother. With love, Norma

Granny, you will be truly missed. Thank you for sitting in the front room for hours upon hours with me listening to true classic country music where’d you’d always end up gettin’ that little knee of yours just a tappin’ and singin’ every word. Thank you for all the stories you shared about your world travels and about how you were raised. Most of all thank you for loving me like a great grandma should and for always being someone I look up to and knew I’d get that smile out of you when snuck up and would tickle your face with my beard. Thank you for loving Emily as your own and always encouraging her to peruse her dreams. I’ll miss you sweet granny. You were a blessing to me. Well, Patty and Gina packed you a snack for your journey home and Ellie gathered up and packed you some of your lost Kleenex from around your recliner. Until I see you again.
Love you.
