Dear Don and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear wife, mother and grandmother.  Vrai was a sweet and dear friend since childhood.  We shared loads of fun times together while growing up in San Marino.  I will miss her friendship and regular correspondence, which she often wrote on her lovely hand painted cards.  She was a talented artist and a very kind person.  My heart goes out to you during this difficult time.  Carol Barkstrom Carney

Dearest Mr. Jones...thank so much for the privilege of knowing you&your wife. It was an honor to take care of her and I am delighted to know of her many interests and accomplishments. I'm so sorry for your loss and for missing the funeral, please know she is now at peace.

Don, thank you for letting me know about Vrai.  She was a lovely person.  She always remembered Nancy and talked about her to me.  It takes a  special person to do that and I loved it and her for it.  Laurie  has her Mother's special kndness too and is dear to my heart. We enjoyed going to Astros games with Vrai & Don for several seasons.  She caught at least 2 foul balls -- much to the aggravation of Don, who had been an accomplished baseball player!
