W. Geraldine Cole Mueller

Gerry was born in Kinder, Kentucky to Floyd T. Cole and Ruth Melinda Cole and raise in Covington, Kentucky with her brother and 2 sisters. She met her husband Warren C. Mueller of 67 years in Cincinnati Ohio in December 1946 and married in January 1947. They moved to Columbus, Ohio to raise their growing family. In 1966 Warren and Gerry moved their 3 children Linda, Karen and David to Houston, TX to pursue a new business venture. In 1969 Warren and Gerry started Mueller Water Conditioning, Inc. in their garage that has now grown to a multimillion dollar commercial and industrial water treatment business serving the entire state of Texas with 2 locations (Houston and San Antonio, TX).

Gerry was an avid bowler and bridge player. She and Warren belonged to the Hey Lolly Square Dance Group for years and participated in many other neighborhood and Water Quality Association groups and functions. Gerry and Warren loved traveling the Texas Hill Country and attending as many German festivals around the state. She loved the Hill Country so much that they bought and rebuilt a log cabin on the Guadalupe River near Gruene, TX where she loved to swing with Warren on their front porch drinking coffee and listening to the sounds of nature that surrounded their house. She rarely had quiet time once the pitter-patter of little feet from her 9 grand children entered the house. She loved being involved in all aspects of her family’s lives and gave all she could to her family up to her last minutes on earth.

Gerry is survived by her husband Warren C. Mueller, Daughter Linda Terrell of Columbus, Ohio, Daughter Karen Mueller McIntosh and Son-in-law Don McIntosh of Katy, TX and Son David W. Mueller and daughter-in-law Stacey Meeks Mueller of Bellville, TX.

9 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren survive their beloved “Mommom”. Her first Grandson Tim Kirkland and wife Han Kirkland along with their children Andrew, Troy and Shane of Seattle, Washington. Her Baird Granddaughter’s include: Tina Baird Bryant and husband Doug Bryant of Mount Sterling, Ohio and their Children Blair, Brook and Paul Bryant. Granddaughter Cindy Baird Smith and husband Eric Smith of Columbus, Ohio and their children Courtney Hall and Keeley Smith. McIntosh Grandchildren include: Granddaughter Mindy McIntosh of Houston, TX, Grandson Christopher McIntosh and wife Dr. Alicia McIntosh and their son Hunter Hawkins McIntosh of Houston, TX and Grandson Alex McIntosh of Katy, TX. Mueller Grandchildren include: Grandson Matthew Mueller and wife Andrea L. Mueller and their daughter Melah Marie Mueller of Houston, TX. Grandson Michael D. Mueller and wife Kristen F. Mueller of Houston, Texas, Grandson Daniel Mueller of College Station, TX and Granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Mueller of Bellville, TX.

Extended Family includes her sister Lucille Cole McKinney and Husband Edward McKinney of Covington, Kentucky, and many nieces and nephews throughout Ohio and Kentucky along with many friends that she’s made throughout her incredible life.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2012, at 12:30 pm in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery,
