Walter and Alice were friends of mine since the 1970’s. I will miss him forever!  Their family is an extension of mine and I love all of them and I pray for their comfort!!

Nothing but the fondness of memories of this great man. His stories were bizarre and his lessons held true. He helped me grow into the man I am today and couldn't be more grateful. I will do my best to surpass his expectation and carry his legacy on. I love you Popi, best grandpa anyone could've asked for.

You always lit up the room with your joyful energy, contagious smile and great stories to tell. You will be missed dearly. Thankful for the memories and to have been able to witness the love and devotion you had for your family. 

I remember all the summers the  brothers would spend the weekends water-skiing on the beautiful brown waters of Lake Houston. 
Different skills and techniques with toys, the bike on a ski, not the greatest idea, but fun. And the saying, " a body in motion stays in motion long after the skis hit the sand" as brother Walter discovered, returning from a lap around the cove. I want to say someone offered the title "Ski-daddy" to the event. Many happy memories with family and friends on the water.


It would be nearly impossible to single out a favorite memory as there are so many - from the many stories told around the dinner table after a good meal, to our travels in Europe, to the look on his face when he held his first grandson for the first time.  I am just thankful that he was in my life, for the devotion to his family, for being such a fantastic role model for Cameron and Kevin, and for the joy and laughter every time we got together.  We can't choose our parents and sometimes we can't choose our parents-in-law, but for the last two-thirds of my life, I feel very blessed to have called him "Dad".  He will be forever in my heart.  
Rest in Peace.

A Family friend for 50 years, Walter meant a lot to each of us.  Dad worked with Walter, and enjoyed boating; and he could always get my Mom to laugh.
As adults, my brother and I have enjoyed Walter's stories about his life, as well as his knowledge and advice.
We will miss him, and he will always have a place in our hearts.


You will be missed dear friend, the memories we shared will never be forgotten. 

I first met Walt in 1962, when I was transferred to Houston to install and maintain a computer at the company where he worked . He and I hit it off from the start. He introduced me to all of his family, and I got to know and really like them all. We spent many hours together, both at work and at play. His wife, Alice was just as much a SWEAT HEART then as she is now, as well as the rest of his family. We got  separated, again, when I was transferred to Denver, but we reconnected a few years later, when we both got back to Houston. He always was and always will be someone very special to me.  

The Waldron Family will all miss Walter at our Holiday feasts!  He always brought the best bottles of wine!  New wines we all could not wait to try!  Such a wonderful man, who lived a life so well with many stories to tell!  We will miss him!  #untilwemeetagain 
LOVE YOU CURDS!

Mr. Curd was always very nice to me.  I met him when I went to Iraq to work in the medical clinic for KBR/Haliburton.  I processed through Baghdad.   I'm deeply saddened to hear he passed.  Prayers
