Walter H. McGee passed away peacefully August 22, 2012. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska March 19, 1938. Walter was a proud graduate of Texas A&M, worked in the banking and finance field, and resided in Houston for most of his life. He married his high school sweetheart Jane DeHaven and would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in September. He is survived by his wife Jane, children Walter L., Nancy and husband Terry, Brian and wife Kirstin, grandchildren Kimberly, Travis, Laura, Quinton, Samuel, Sarah and Emily, and three great-grandchildren. He was “The Greatest”. Visitation at Forest Park Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer, Monday August 27th, 9:00 – 10:30 AM, service 10:30 AM with graveside service to follow.
