

Ifeanyi was the heart of the Okafor family, and a friend to everyone he met. His joy for life was infectious, full of laughter, affable, kind and generous. Family was his passion, and he doled out his love without fear or favor. He was a traditionalist who reveled in African culture and his Igbo heritage. A proud HBCU alumni, he
graduated from Texas Southern University in Houston with a degree in Social Work, and dedicated twenty-five years of his life to transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at The Center for Pursuit in Houston. He also served as Provost for Ohaoma Progressive Union, a social
club based in Houston, working to improve the lives of people and communities back home in Nigeria.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Francis and Mrs. Esther (Mama Owerri) Okafor, and his older sister Mrs. Chinyere Emeribe. He is survived by his sons, Denzel and Chimel, his granddaughter, Aubree Marie, his brothers Ogbonna, Ejike, Ndubuisi, Chukwudi, Ugochukwu, his sisters, Ndidi, Ugochi, Nnoye,
and a large extended Okafor family across the world.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on; Saturday, March 16th 2024
Visitation from 1 pm to 2 pm.
Service from 2 pm to 3 pm.
Interment to follow immediately, and please join us for repast at; Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home
