Wanda Lee Wade

She met Jackie Wade in Houston, Texas and married on July 18, 1959. Wanda, also known as Mamaw was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her, and a friend too many. She was a cherished member of the community in Trinity, Texas leaving behind a legacy of Godliness and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wade; and son, Jackie Wade.

Wanda is survived by her son, Ronnie Wade (Samantha); grandchildren, Kris Wade, Josh Wade, Jessica Johnson (Josh), and Rachel Stovall (Zac); great grandchildren, Mckenzie, Wade, Tyler, Henley, Kori, and Kate.

Serving as pallbearers are Kris Wade, Josh Wade, Connard Melton, Dean Melton, Joe Clemons, and Gary Phillips.

A visitation for Wanda will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
