Warren Lester Lynch Jr. affectionately known as “Sonny” was born on January 21, 1949, the first son to Warren Sr. and Juanita Lynch in Richmond, Indiana.
Warren graduated from Richmond High School in 1967 and went on to study at Purdue University. He was a proud veteran who served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War era.
While on the campus of Purdue a beautiful woman caught Sonny’s eye, the former Ms. Vivian Nadine Hayes. Their love story began on June 7, 1969 when they were united in Holy Matrimony. Together they nurtured one son Warren Anthony and twelve years later a beautiful baby girl Teresa Danielle.
Warren’s manufacturing career began at General Foods in Lafayette, Indiana. He had over 44 years of management experience, overseeing manufacturing at major companies such as Westinghouse, Alpha Circuits, Quietflex, RTI and Trelleborg Offshore.
Sonny was an avid golfer who loved the thrill of the game, excellent dancer, fierce poker player and well-known for his passion to cook gourmet meals for his family and friends.
On Friday, May 5, 2017, God gently laid Sonny down to rest at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 14 days. After he fought a hard battle with cancer at North Cypress Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Lester Lynch Sr., Paternal grandparents George Corbett Lynch and Edith Mae Lynch, five aunts Fern and Annabelle Davis, Ina Wallace, Jane Featherstone and Patty Smith seven uncles Richard, Rodney, Jack, Kenny Lynn, George, Myron and Robert Lynch.
His love will live on in the hearts of his devoted wife of forty-eight years, Vivian Nadine Lynch of Cypress, Texas; treasured mother, Juanita Lynch of Richmond, Indiana; his legacy lives on through his son, Warren Anthony Lynch (Nikki) of Katy, Texas; daughter, Teresa Danielle Lynch of Los Angeles, California; grandsons, Courtney Lowman of Fort Worth, Texas and Nicholas Anthony Lynch of Katy, Texas; great-grandson, King James Lowman and great-granddaughter, Arianna Reneé Lowman; dearest sister, Joan Louise Clemens (Noel) of Raleigh, North Carolina; beloved brothers, Kenneth Leroy Lynch (Sandy) of Walkerton, Indiana and Steven Douglass Lynch of Carmel, Indiana; Uncles, Walter Leroy Campbell of Richmond, Indiana and Don Lynch; Aunts Marcella Fost, Mary Ellen Wright and Bonnie Gregory; brothers-in-law, Robert L. Hayes (Reba) of Kokomo, Indiana and Keith Hayes (Yolanda) Baltimore, Maryland a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will always cherish his memory.
