Wesley Rudolph Brown was born December 15, 1939 in Aenon Town, Jamaica. He was the first of nine children born to Samuel Ucal Brown and Daisy Gladys Brown. He attended primary school in Kingston while he lived with his Aunt Enid. With the guidance of his family, he migrated to London England with hopes of a better life.
While in England he worked for London’s public transportation network as a bus driver before gaining his automotive technology certification and becoming a motor mechanic. During his early years there he welcomed four sons; Anthony Brown, Christopher Brown, Patrick Brown and Courtney Brown.
Later he married Elma Brown and from this union he welcome two daughters; Keddy and Georgina Brown. After another decade in London, he was able to migrate his family to America with the help of his brother Martin. This move was a new start that provided immense potential and opportunity.
While living in America, he worked for a few automotive shops before retiring from Uzi’s Autohaus. During his later years he experienced his fair share of hardship but through it all he remained faithful and worshiped the Lord. His faith kept him an honest mechanic which was a rare find. During his retirement he continued to help family and friends with a happy and caring heart. He was a child of God who reminded us all to help others if able.
Wesley is preceded in death by his parents Samuel & Daisy Brown and his brother Keith Brown. He is survived by his children Keddy and Georgina Brown, his grandchildren Alexandria Jones, Ethan Kuykendall, and B.R. Jones; his siblings Desmond & Georgette Brown, Inez Brown (surviving wife of Keith), Delroy & Joyce Brown, Martin & Desis Brown, Audrey & William Hall, Lorraine & Delroy Worrell, Paulette & Al Warren, Glenmore Brown, many nephews, nieces, and a host of cousins.
