Wesley O Stringfellow Jr.

Wesley was born on May 16, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Wesley O. Stringfellow Sr. and Lillian Stringfellow. He dearly loved his father and was proud of him.

Wesley joined the United States Air Force at the age of 19 and is a veteran of the Korean War. After serving his country he married Bernice Jenkins and worked for Armco Steel for 28 years. After retirement from Armco Steel he started a successful career in sales. He sold everything from gloves to maps but janitorial supplies and equipment became his niche until he finally retired for good about 10 years ago.

Wesley is preceded in death by 40 hours by his loving wife, Bernice Stringfelllow, of 61 ½ years. The only time they were apart was when they were working.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Lilian; his brother Clifford (Toppy) Stringfellow. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Tricia Stringfellow; and his grandchildren Claire and Grant Stringfellow, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
