I know that Mamaw & Papaw were so glad to see you again.  No doubt Aunt Joyce was waiting with open arms.  While the rest of us are waiting for "our rooms to be ready"- we sure will miss you.  Our loss was Heaven's gain.

Uncle Cricket, 
I have so many wonderful and sweet memories of you.  I loved coming to visit you and Granny growing up.  There were so many things I loved… raking the lawn so we could jump in the leaves and then burn them and have smores, movie watching while eating Blue Bell ice cream, hunting squirrels and skinning them, eating your delicious food (especially the beans! Thanks for always shipping some home with me!), celebrating every holiday at your house, picking wild grapes to make the best jelly known to man, I could go on and on forever…and I had so much fun on that cruise with you and Granny.  One of my favorite pictures in the whole world is the one with you and Granny wearing the life jackets with your huge grins. That one will always be displayed in my home.  I love you so much, Uncle Cricket.  I miss you, but I am comforted knowing that you are at peace and with the Lord and savior of our lives.

Uncle Cricket, you were always more of a grandfather than and uncle to me. I'll always remember you teaching me how to play checkers and how to make the wild mustang grape jelly; staying up til the wee hours of the morning playing penny poker and watching the old westerns; stealing oatmeal cookies out of the cookie jar as a boy and laughing with you about it because I wasn't supposed to. I'm so glad we got to gamble on those cruises and in Louisiana at Delta Downs with Granny. You were such an amazing man to so many of us. I'll miss you so much, but will cherish all the time we got to spend together. I love you, Kellan.

Uncle Cricket - You really meant alot to me.  I'm very thankful for your avid support and appreciation of my guitar playing.  It has really encouraged me and I'll always remember you as one of my biggest fans.  I'll miss you greatly.  Love, Kyle
