William Ray Hescht went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 30, 2017. He was born on November 12, 1943 in Houston, Texas to parents Louise and Charles Hescht. William was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Tillman, and his son, William Heath Hescht. He is survived by his five children, Scott and Courtney Hescht, Heath and Melissa Hescht, Wade Hescht and Andres Pulido, Tracy and Kathy Smith, Shannon and Alicia Smith; two siblings, Bud and Kathy Posey, James and Carolyn Tillman; six grandchildren, Hayden Hescht, Daniel Smith, Zane Hescht, Daxton Hescht, Barbie and Johnny Carnoski, Margaret Smith and Ishmael Rasheed, and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service Friday, February 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
