

Bill went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: August 2025/Houston, TX. Bill grew up in Chico, CA where he spent many happy hours on a family friend's ranch and he loved that lifestyle.
He was an Electrical Designer. He attended Chico State University and San Francisco State in California. Bill joined the Navy and served 6 years during the Vietnam War. He was fully qualified as a nuclear trained technician's mate on two nuclear submarines.
He started square dancing in high school and continued square dancing as an adult which is where we met and later married.
Bill liked to keep busy so after retiring he took up woodworking.
Bill was a born again believer and shared his faith at every opportunity. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Survived by his wife of 37 years (Roni) and son Devin (Daija)
Stepsons: David (Monta) and Derek Corrick (Sarah)
Grandchildren: Van, Fin, Bel and Raihan
Nieces: Susan Chasteen (AZ) and Tamara Hunter (CA)
A visitation will take place at American Heritage Funeral Home, located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, on September 3, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
A committal service will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, on the same day from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm.
