William George Korns

Born January 4, 1953 in Dover, OH, he was the son of the late John and Rose Latham and the late Raymond Korns and husband to the late Janie Korns.

Bill was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and a very dedicated and loving grandfather. He has two daughters, Rose (Jon) Fields and Shelly (Toby) Miller. He has nine grandchildren. Tanner, Colton, Lacey and Addison Fields, Kennedy, Madelynn and Caden Miller and Blake and Alyssa Valadez. Two sisters, Sally Korns and Carol (Tony) Cordova. Seven brothers Raymond D (Chrystel) Korns, Thomas E. (Cheryl) Korns, Henry D. Korns, Edward L. Korns, Michael D. (Sharon) Korns, Terry Korns. He has numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill loved to spend his free time with family, 2 stepping, bowling, hunting , watching football and NCIS. He loved his Houston Texans and Ohio State Buckeyes. He was very committed to his work at Transwestern, loved all his tenants and contractors but his most favorite thing to do was going to lunch with his best friends Earl, Brian and Randy.

Bill is preceded in death by his loving parents and his loving wife.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7 2013 from 5 to 8 pm at American Heritage Funeral Home in Houston Texas where funeral services will be held on Thursday August 8, 2013 at 10:00 am. Burial services will follow at Houston National Cemetery.

Pall bearers are son in laws, Toby Miller and Jon Fields and grandsons, Caden Miller, Tanner Fields, Colton Fields and Blake Valadez
