William R. “Mac” McGarity, 90, passed away on Monday, November 1 in Dayton, TX. “Mac” was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Annie Mae Martin McGarity. He is survived by his children, Janice Melton and husband Lloyd, Rev. Don McGarity and wife Bonnie, Linda Kunkel and husband Dan, Michael McGarity and wife Pat, Timothy McGarity and wife Sandra; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great grandchildren as well as his sister, Martha Lou Cherry. H e was a member for 55 years of Ralston Memorial Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 3, 2010, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 10:00am in Brookside Memorial Park.
