William Pirooz

William B Pirooz, 77, of Katy, Texas, passed away on January 20th, 2023.

William was born on February 10th, 1945 in Tehran, Iran. After graduating from University of Texas majoring Architecture, he spent his life working as an architect for the City of Houston code enforcement .

In 2007, he met Xuemei Bai, they wed in 2010, and raised her two daughters, Rachel and Francine.

After retiring in 2020 from his position with the City of Houston, William spent most of his time cooking, traveling, gardening, and playing with his dog.

William is survived by his wife, two daughters, and son Joe Pirooz.

A visitation for William will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
