William “Bill” E. Spears, September 2, 1966- July 1, 2011. Bill passed away unexpected in his home early Friday morning. Bill was a lifelong Houstonian, having graduated from Lamar Consolidated in Rosenberg Texas in 1984 and attended the University of Houston. Bill was an employee of Taco Bell (Yum Industries), starting out as a sales associate working his way up to District Manager in the Houston area. He served Taco Bell as a national distinction and was awarded the title of Area Coach of the five years in a row. Among Bill’s many hobbies and interests were travel, cooking, and raising a menagerie of exotic pets. Bill was a devoted father to his children, Joshua Allen Lewis-Spears 13 years old and Jennifer Elena Lewis-Spears 11 years old. Bill is survived by his life-partner Jesus Jose Medina Brito, ex-partners Mark Lewis and Randy Mobley, his mother Vera (Pat) Spears, his brothers James Patterson and Bobby Spears, and sisters Darlene Rivera, Patsy, Rese and Janet Spears along with numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a loving father and friend and will be deeply missed by all those who knew them.
