

Mrs. Willie Faye Armstrong-Dow was born on June 26, 1956 to Faye Jeanette Armstrong and Author E. Armstrong in Houston, Texas. She attended Isaacs Elementary, Francis Scott Key Junior High and graduated from Kashmere Senior High Class of 1973. She was a dedicated and hard worker at the United States Postal Service for over 20 years. She was also a committed and dedicated member of Creston Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Leroy Ross.
Willie Faye (Nanny) had a heart of gold and would give her all to anyone in need. She was generous and loving to all who knew her. She was the best of the best on the Pitt, stove and oven. No one could master her BBQ or cakes. Her Holiday feast will truly be missed but always cherished in the hearts and memories of her family and friends.

On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Willie Faye Armstrong-Dow gained her wings and transitioned to be with the Lord.
Willie Faye is survived by her husband Ray Dow, Siblings: Harvey Lee Armstrong (Sharon) Shirley Thomas (Cecil) and Brittane Brown. Loving children: Laquisia Carter, Micheal Carter, Jeffery Fairow (step-son) and Wrae Dow (step-daughter).
She was a loving and devoted Nanny to her grandchildren; Irashanique Wysinger, Keonte Jackson, Kaylan Bankston, Dontrell Carter, Aiden Edwards, Ashton Edwards, Micheal Carter, Xavier Carter, Dontrae Brown, Jazmyn Carter, Avah Faye Edwards, Jordan Maxie, Ja Dai Maxie and Ja Don Maxie.
