

Willie J. Luter Jr. was born on January 9, 1961 to the late Willie J. Luter Sr. and Alberta B. Luter. He resided in Houston, Texas, where he enjoyed most of his amazing life for 56 years. He was an active member of Grace Congregational Church (under the leadership of Pastor Walter Turner Jr.). He served as a trusted member of Pastor Walter’s staff, and assisted in many areas. He also served as Vice President of Pinemont Plaza Civic Club and was a member of the Bronze Eagles Flying Club (Houston Chapter). Willie and his two siblings, Cornell Luter (deceased) and Gregory Luter (Houston, Texas) were raised on a strong Christian foundation. He graduated from HSEP (High School for Engineering Professions) Class of 1979. He relocated to Palo Alto, California where he attended Stanford University in 1980. He received his degree in Science from San Jacinto in 1990. He graduated 2nd in his class and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He found the love of his life, Esedora Clark, in November of 1984. He was blessed to be united in Holy Matrimony with his soulmate on December 17, 1994. Together they happily raised four awesome kids. Willie loved and was loved by others. He captured the love and respect of his family and friends. Whatever he had, he was willing to share. He never refused to help strangers or his friends. Willie J. will be missed by all who knew him. Willie peacefully surrendered to God on June 2, 2017. He leaves to rejoice in his memories a devoted wife: Esedora Luter, four children: Chanta R. Clark, Keisha L. Clark, Chanel L. Luter, and Willie J. Luter III, nine grandchildren: Ariel, Daysha, Lester, Diamond, Lillian, Elijah, Cameron, Samara Jade (Pebbles) , and London (Tinkerbell), and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
