Until his death, he kept in touch with many of his friends that reside in different parts of the United States who are involved in the meditation world.
Besides spending time with his family and friends Yuri was very talented and had a passion for traveling, exploring new cities, listening to music, learning new cultures and languages, exploring new cuisines, going to the beach, watching movies, reading books, fixing computers, loved the automobile industry, watch NASCAR races, enjoyed fixing cars with his best friend on the weekends, enjoyed talking on the phone and texting with his close friends, enjoyed remodeling homes and mainly caring for his Labrador ”King”.
In 2018, Yuri married Jacqueline Tamashiro, his partner in life for the past 12 years. They were happy married until his untimely passing.
Yuri is survived by his devoted wife Jackie Tamashiro; mother Ana Reyes; stepfather Anthony Sharkey; father and mother-in-law Julio and Mary Tamashiro; sister-in-law Krystell Tamashiro; niece Adreana Roberston and many more dear relatives and friends.
Yuri was a giver, energetic and very loving person and was known for his ability to sense when people needed his help. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion to help others. He enjoyed living life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by his wife, mother, stepfather, family members, dear friends and his dog King, whom he loved dearly.
