Aunt Yvonne, I miss your phone calls checking on me. I miss you. But I can still hear your voice and laugh and still hold you close in my memories of you. Love, your niece, Fleecy

Yvonne was my dad's cousin and the only member of my family that kept us up to date on other family members. She was so good about keeping up with everyone, updating family trees and such. I'd like to know how the others are doing.

While taking a stroll, my wife and I met this wonderful woman Ivonne as she was asking for help to get out of a locked room. Since that day, she shared with us fun stories and occasionally figs from her backyard. We will really miss her company.  May her soul Rest In Peace. 

My Aunt Yvonne has always been to me a strong independent woman.  The few times I spent time with her were mostly at family reunions.  A few of them were held at her house in Houston.  She and Uncle Claude always made them a success.  The food delicious!!! During the last reunion I attended, ...aunt Yvonne and Claudia took me to the dance hall in Rayne for first time. Where I learned my only Thibodaux/ Boudreau joke! I loved watching her dance. 

Yvonne was a great lady and a dear friend. I will always remember sitting and talking with her and Pat,,,,I have never laughed so hard! I will always remember all the great meals she spoiled me with and her stories that I will charish. She will be missed by many. 

To her family,  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. 

My fondest memory of my Aunt Yvonne was a trip to  Las Vegas that she came on with  my Mom, Dad and I. Just the four of us. I remember it being lots of fun getting dressed up and going to a show and gambling.  
She also made her famous rice dressing for my wedding. 
And came for a visit in Austin bringing her Grandson Paul. Took them to see Stevie Ray Vaughn statue and to see how Gibson guitars are made.   Ate a huge Round Rock Donut and Mexican food at Casa Garcias on South Lamar. Lots of fun. Always felt that she was interested in whatever anyone wanted to do.   Was always impressed with her energy.   I loved how she always called Mom to chat. Most of the news about any of the family came by way of Yvonne. I pray someone keeps Mom in the loop with their lives. I know Yvonne loved me no doubt and I loved her dearly in return. I wished I could have said it one more time to her.   RIP Aunt Yvonne  love always your niece Kimberly.
