Zachary Matthew Giordano, 34, went to be with our Lord on November 14, 2020. A lifelong Houston resident, Zachary was born at Methodist Hospital on April 8, 1986. He was a kind soul with a vibrant personality that could light up a room.

Zach attended St. Ambrose for elementary and middle school where he served as an altar boy. He then went on to St. Thomas High School where he was the class of 2004. His Catholic education led Zachary to be strong in his faith. He was well versed in Bible stories and enjoyed quoting them while spreading the word of God.

Zach was an outdoorsman and avid sports fan. If he wasn't catching a game with his dad and brother, he was out in the wilderness looking for his next catch.

Another favorite pastime for Zachary was catching up with his mom about the latest results of The Voice, or who won the Texans game. Zach was a family man at heart and loved nothing more than spending time with the ones he loved most.

Zachary found his calling when he met and befriended Kenny Misleh, who taught him everything he knew about the restaurant business. The ease with which he built meaningful relationships led to a successful career in the hospitality industry, ranking among the top 5 bartenders in Houston. Zach was a devoted son, brother and uncle and will be forever missed and loved by those whose lives he touched.

Zachary is preceded in death by his grandparents N.D. and Verna Jean Edmiston and Patsy and Francis Giordano. Zachary is survived by his parents Pat and Janet Giordano, brother Gabriel Giordano, nephew Jaden Giordano and beloved cat Leo.

A celebration of life will be held at Pat. H Foley, 1200 W. 34th St, on Friday, November 20th. Viewing services from 3pm - 6pm, Rosary Service from 6pm-7pm and Chapel Service from 7pm-8pm.

Zach was a great guy and a good friend in high school. I have really great memories of playing football and sharing many classes with Zach at St. Thomas. I was really devastated at such sudden and tragic news. My thoughts and prayers are with Gabe and Zachs parents and family.
