Ida M. Booth of Weeki Watchee, Florida, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011, at the age of 89. Ida was born in Manhattan, NY, on New Years Eve, 1921, to the late Anthony and Louisa Ghiorsi. While in New York, Ida worked for the South Huntington Water District as a bookkeeper. She moved Florida in 1983 where she was an active member of the Elks of Spring Hill; the Moose Lodge of Spring Hill; the Moose Ladies Auxiliary; the Lions Club of Spring Hill; and the Senior Citizens Club of Spring Hill, just to mention a few. Ida is survived by her loving husband, Edward; daughters, Bobbi (Roy) Church of OH, and Debbie ( George) Smith of NY; five granchildren, Christopher and Amanda Church, Henry (Sarah), Adam, and Matthew Smith; and great-granddaughter, Emily Church.
