John M. Archibald, 81 of Spring Hill, Fl, passed away peacefully at HPH Sturgill Hospice Care Center on September 23, 2011. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, and moved to the Spring Hill area in 1987 from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was a proud veteran serving in both Vietnam and the Korean War as an active member of the U.S. Air Force. John was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Elks. Survivors include; brother, Peter Archibald Jr., sisters, Ruth(Nancy) Horn and Clarinda Cox as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11 am at the Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors.
