Dear Great Aunt Ruth  thank you for the long talks about family stories,  for sharing our history.  Thankyou for sharing your heart Aunt Ruth . I always will remember the cottage and visitng as a child. Mom and I enjoyed the three hour chats we had learning about each other. To the family I'd like to share our condolances for your Mother / Grandmother , she was a was wonderful lady and we are blessed to have known such a strong,  clear spirit .

To Great Grandma Ruth Sopher, 
 It's hard to imagine that you have gone to be with the Lord. I don't know why, but I never really thought about you not being around. I guess I always thought/hoped/believed you would see 100 years and many more. I'm sorry if that was selfish of me. I know God took you home to be with Him and to be forever at peace and rest with no more pain or trouble. We never got to spend much time together, but it's amazing how you were able to touch and inspire me with what little time we did spend together. You are and will be truly loved and missed, but know we hold you in our hearts. Until we meet again. I love you Great Grandma! I can't help but think of this song!

My family and I always looked forward to our visits with Aunt Ruth when we came to Florida at Christmas time for many years.My parents, Ross ( her brother) and Grace Smith would make a lovely dinner, put it in the car and off we would go to spend a fun day Hudson. I enjoyed listening to Aunt Ruth play her lovely organ and talk about how much she liked her computer.She was always interested hearing about what my 3 children were doing and how much snow there was at our home in Buckhorn Ontario. Sometimes she would share stories about growing up on the farm rural Ontario. She was an amazing lady who liked trying new things. We will all miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her close family. I am sorry that I can't be there with all of you to celebrate her wonderful, long life.

We will treasure our memories of time spent with Aunt Ruth over the past twenty years since we have been wintering in Florida. We especially enjoyed the many evenings when she would play the organ for us and we would sing along. Her ability to trounce Reta and I in a card game (Aggravation) never decreased with age. 
She was an amazing person and an inspiration to all.

Grandma, you will be forever in our hearts. We have been blessed to have you with us for so long. I will continue my craft of making things for others in your honor. love you too pieces,angel hugs and kisses
