Vincent Marotto

It is with regret that announcement is made of the death of Vincent Marotto, 86, on May 28, 2010 at home. He is survived by his wife Bridget of 47 years, 2 sons, Robert of St. Pete & Vincent of Hudson Fl. & 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, David. Vincent was a Navy Veteran of both World War Two & Korea & participated in the invasion of Normandy Beach on "D" Day. He was appointed to the FDNY in 1954 & retired in 1976 from E 157 in Staten Island. Vincent was past commander of VFW Hudson Post 4412 & and active & valued member of the Gene Okane Division of FDNY. He was a Hudson Little League Coach for ten years. udson Little League Coach for ten years.A wake at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Hudson on 6/1/10 from noon – 2PM and 4-7 PM, with many Okane members in attendance. A Mass Of Resurrection will be at St. Michaels R.C. Church, Rt 52 Bayonet point on 6/2/10 at 10 AM with burial in Grace Memorial Gardens Cemetery Hudson, Fl.
