Alan Wade Abel

"Alan's gracious heart and radiant smile touched all who crossed his path. He met no strangers. He was a sturdy, reliable man with many accomplishments, including his successful fitness journey, faithfully showing up to work every day for 36 years at O'Brien's Market and the genuine friendships he has created along the way. If you asked him, he would say his biggest accomplishment was his family."

Alan is survived by the love of his life Gina Abel; children Talan Abel, Kelsie Abel (Levi), Brandy Abel-Figueroa (Matt); and nephews Chris Ramirez (Melodi) and Jacob Ramirez (Breanna). He is preceded in passing by parents William and Mabel Abel; sister Jeanette Abel; and brother Kenny Abel.

A Celebration of Life service for Alan will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home, located at 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park.
