Alice Fernando

Alice Fern Fernando, age 96, was born on February 6, 1926 and passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023. Alice was born in Iowa, family moved to Oregon during the depression. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. She retired from Scenic General Hospital and loved to travel, and has been widowed since 1994. Alice was a loving mother, grandmother to 5 and great-grandmother to 4. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl L. Santos and Joanie Hall. Alice is preceded in death by her husband, and son Gary Brown. A funeral service for Alice Fernando will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home on February 13, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Heritage Chapel. Following the graveside service the family would like to invite everyone to a reception that will be held in the Riverside building in our hospitality room.
