

Alicia C. Sarabia was called home and passed away peacefully on 10/17/2024, at the age of 79 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on October 13, 1945, she was known for her love of family, love of dancing, and her delicious cooking. Her door was always open as she paved the way for many friends and family to succeed in the US. She loved hosting and big family gatherings; she always took this opportunity to cook your favorite meal. Her love language was Acts of Service, she showed up for anyone in need, her house was never too small to accommodate family. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Alicia worked in the restaurant industry for 30 yrs. This included working in several family businesses. She was devoted to her faith and her church community. She belonged to the St Stanislaus Grupo de Oracion (Madre del Buen Pastor) and Ministerio de Oracion de Comunidad.
She will be remembered for a playful personality, great sense of humor and unconditional love for each of us.
She is survived by her husband of 51 yrs Patricio Sarabia, her children Debbie Diaz (Miguel), Patricia Pulido (Jaime), Brenda Seals (Thaddeus), Armando Martinez, Veronica Esparza (David), Sandra Lara, (Eddie) and Anita Martinez (Frank). She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Guadalupe Carreon, infant daughter Sonia, sisters Martha Gasca, Martha Rosas, brother Gustavo Mata and niece Corina Ramirez.
A visitation/rosary for Alicia will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A mass service will occur Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 505 W Granger Ave, Modesto, CA 95350 with reception to follow.
