Alta Dean Davis Partlow

Alta Dean Partlow, 74, of Modesto passed away August 3, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 7, 1938 in Oakridge, Missouri. Alta's love for her family was enormous; they truly were her life. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, spending time with, and bragging on, her grandchildren . . . and shopping.

Alta is survived by her children Sharon Burnett (Norman) of Turlock, Chuck, Jr. (Heidi ) of Oakdale, Cheryl Coey (Rob) of Modesto, her sister Virginia Mae King, her brother-by-love David Partlow, her sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her grandchildren - Jacob Thompson (Danielle), Joshua Thompson (Jenn), Derek Coey (Sylvia), Jack Partlow (Megan), Tovin McGovern, Amanda Nelson (Michael), Kathryn Partlow, Chris Goodnight (Heather) Kelli Partlow, Dustin Coey, and Courtney Helms, as well as her nine great-grandchildren - Aurora, Kai, Alyssa, Hayden, Grace, Caleb, Natalie, Hannah, and Paityn. Alta was preceded in death by her husband Chuck Partlow, brother Wendell Davis and sister Nona Savage.

Visitation will be in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson on Friday, August 10th from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, August 11th 10-11 a.m. Service will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 11:00 a.m. in the Heritage Chapel and burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden.
