Arcenio "Archie" Rubio
May 25, 1957 - August 2, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Arcenio "Archie" Rubio, who entered eternal rest on August 2, 2026, at the age of 69. Archie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
For 47 wonderful years, Archie shared his life with his devoted partner, Bertha. Together they built a life filled with love, cherished memories, and a deep commitment to one another. Archie is preceded in death by his parents Arcenio and Arcelia Rubio and his nephew Antonio Rubio Jr.
Archie dedicated 43 years of his life as a commercial truck driver before retiring from a local company in Farmington. He took great pride in his work and was respected for his dedication, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Archie enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for classic cars, loved spending time fishing and never passed up the chance to visit the casino. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco Giants fan, he faithfully cheered for his favorite teams through every Season.
While Archie had many interests, what truly set him apart was the joy he brought to everyone around him. He had an incredible sense of humor and an unmatched ability to make people laugh. Whether it was a perfectly timed joke, playful teasing, a funny story, or simply his infectious smile, Archie had a way of lifting spirits and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. He could make an entire room laugh without even trying, and his laughter was contagious.
To know Archie was to laugh with him. His family and friends will forever remember him as the jokester who always knew how to brighten someone's day. Even during difficult times, he found a way to bring smiles to the faces of those he loved. His humor wasn't just entertainment; it was one of the many ways he showed his love. He made people feel welcome, comfortable, and valued, and the happiness he shared with others is a gift that will live on in their hearts forever.
Beyond his laughter was an even greater gift; his heart. Archie would do anything for anyone in need without ever expecting anything in return. His kindness, generosity, and selflessness touched countless lives, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to family, friends, or even strangers.
Family was the center of Archie's life. He is lovingly remembered by his life partner, Bertha; his six siblings; 69 great-nieces and great-nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, along with countless extended family members and lifelong friends.
Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that the sound of Archie's laughter and the memories he created will remain with us always. His love, compassion, generous spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever making us smile.
A public visitation will take place on Monday, August 17th beginning at 9:00 AM in the Riverside Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson CA, 95326. A graveside ceremony will follow after the public visitation at Lakewood Memorial Park.
