Barbara Ann Huss Adams

July 19, 1935April 19, 2011

Barbara Adams, my beloved mother, found rest with the Lord. God saw her tired face and knew she was suffering. He closed her weary eyelids and called her home. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was completely selfless and God gave her a heart of gold. She was always concerned about everyone else’s welfare. She was such as blessing as a mother and dear friend. My mom retired from Gallo glass plant after 31 years and has struggled with her health for the past 10 years after, but especially the past year. I would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions with phone calls, cards, food, and especially your prayers as we grieve her loss. It’s only because of our own selfishness that we grieve her loss because I know she is free of pain and suffering basking in the glory of the Lord. We can’t wait to meet you again in heaven someday Mamaw.

Barbara is survived by: her son, Paul E. Lindsey 58yrs, her daughter, Rochelle Moreno 37yrs, her grandchildren – Travis 26yrs, Alesia 28yrs, Iian 13yrs, Ethan 9yrs, great grandson – baby Shane 1 1/2yrs, her siblings – Kenneth Legg, Norman Tyler, Elaine Davis, Martha Hudson, and by nephews, in-laws, and friends that loved her dearly.

MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER. I miss you so much already. Our long talks, laughs, and crys. Our shopping days and going out to lunch. Going through pictures for scrapbooking. You were so good at it and very creative. You truly loved all of our family and your friends and enjoyed putting pictures in your scrapbook to enjoy and remember all.
As my tears fall I know that they are for myself. Because I know you are in heaven with your Steven, Our sweet Mom. and Brother Terry.
No more suffering sister, I will always love you And you will always be in my heart, And well never be forgotten.

We will not forget the memories of working with Barbara at Gallo Glass. Barbara taught several of us young women how to crochet. Barbara will be missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Barbara's family and friends at this difficult time.
