Barbara June Rutherford

Barbara "Bobbi" June Rutherford, 78, of Modesto, California, passed away peacefully at home on June 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 19, 1946, in Pasadena, California, Bobbi devoted her life to her family. She was the cherished wife of Jimmy Dee Rutherford, the devoted mother of James Rutherford and Teddi Snedegar, and the proud grandmother of Pierce, Clay, and Axl.

Bobbi’s greatest accomplishments were the home and family she nurtured with unwavering love and strength. A faithful Christian, she lived her life with grace, compassion, and a deep devotion to those she held dear. She was the rock of her family—steadfast, nurturing, and irreplaceable.

In March 2023, Bobbi began a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her illness, she remained positive and strong, embodying the same spirit that had always defined her life.

She leaves behind a family who adored her, a home filled with her love, and a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever. Though her absence leaves a deep void, her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace and in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly.

A funeral service will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson CA on July 15th at 10:00 AM.

Bobbi will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
