Bruce E. Blizzard (Bruce Edward Blizzard) age 86 of Modesto, CA, formerly of Salida, CA passed away on December 25, 2025. Born in Providence Rhode Island on January 4th 1939, Bruce migrated to California at an early age. He graduated from San Lorenzo High School in 1956, following his graduation Bruce enlisted into the US Army where he served from 1957-1959. After his service with the US Army Bruce went on to graduate from Linfield College in Oregon and CSU Hayward. On June 23rd 1963, Bruce married Janice Baker and shared a life of love together. Bruce and Janice had four children; Danica, Trenton, Jason and Justin. Throughout his life Bruce was employed in the film and medical industries, in 1991 he became a middle school teacher until his retirement in 2001. Bruce is predeceased in death by his wife, Janice Baker. Bruce will forever be loved and remembered by those who knew him. A visitation will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA, 95326 on Monday January 5, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm in the Heritage Chapel. A Funeral service will follow on Tuesday January 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Heritage Chapel.
