Celerina A. Rico, age 80, passed away in Riverbank, CA. on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Francisco and Lidia Alcala, but was raised in Mexicali, Baja California. She married Jesus Rico in El Centro, CA. on January 24, 1975. Celerina worked as a sales auditor for 35 years.
She is survived by her son, Alex A. Rico; grandson, Richard A. Rico and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Lidia (Esparza) Alcala and husband Jesus Rico.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29 from 4-8 PM, with a rosary at 6:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel) .
A funeral mass will be held at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church at 10:00 AM in Riverbank, CA., with burial to follow at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery. -
