Cheri Suzanne Helton

Cheri Suzanne Wilson-Helton, born in Modesto, California, on August 22nd, 1969, to loving parents Nancy Bell and Paul Wilson, was lifted by the hands of the lord on October 1st, 2026, at 3 am, while in the loving arms of her husband, David Helton.

Cheri was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, daughter, and friend. She spread joy and endless love to everyone she knew. Cheri was the type of woman who made friends with everyone she met, forming lifelong relationships and touching the hearts of many. Her personality led her into many conversations with those around her, whether it be her wisdom, sense of humor, or overall joy of life.

One of the things most precious to Cheri was the blessing of being a grandmother. Her faith and relationship with the Lord were deeply important to her, allowing her to find peace and joy in life. She will be greeted by her mother, Nancy Bell, as she walks through the gates of her eternal paradise.

Revelation 21:4 – "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore...".

Cheri is survived by her husband, David Helton; her daughter, Samantha Silveria, and sons John Newkirk, Connor Kolossa, Tanner Kolossa, Dylan Silva, Jadon Helton, and Joseph Silveria; her grandchildren Avarie, Aubrey, Adelina, James, and Hailey; her mother-in-law, Shirley Baker; her daughters-in-law Anare Kolossa and Jordan Kolossa; siblings Richard Wilson and Shannon Hernandez; niece Trina; and her beloved fur babies Butters, Daisy, and Luna.

Services will be held at Lakewood Memorial on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026, at 12, in her memory.
