Christie Lee Duden

Christie was born to Elton Bryant and Marie Hallock on March 31, 1940 in Chelan, Washington. She had four siblings. At a young age, Christie moved to Sonora, California and graduated from Sonora High School. After high school, she moved to Stockton, California where she attended beauty school.

Christie was married to Garold Duden on October 3, 1964 in Sonora, California. They had two sons: Kevin Duden on August 22, 1966, and Steven Duden on May 21, 1968.

Christie worked as a cafeteria manager for Modesto City Schools from 1978 until her retirement in 1998.

She was a member of First Church of Christ in Ceres, California, and Big Valley Grace Community Church in Modesto, California.

Christie is survived by her sons Kevin Dean Duden, and Steven Lee Duden, and their wives. She is also survived by four granddaughters, four grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Garold Dean Duden, father Elton Claybourn Bryant, mother Marie Lilian Hallock-Bryant, sister Alicee, and brother Baby D.

A wake immediately following graveside will be held at The Secret Garden (2401 E Orangeburg Ave, Modesto, CA 95355).
